2010 Area V Fly-In

Attention Area V Junior League Members!

The Junior League of Dallas is pleased to host the 2010 Area V Fly-in meeting on Friday, March 26.  As you know, the Fly-in meeting is our Area V’s opportunity to address any current issues or concerns confronting our Association prior to the Annual Conference.  It is a great opportunity to network with other Area V leagues and with Debbie Robinson, President of AJLI.  We believe this experience will prove to be invaluable.  Please know that you are welcome to bring any other members from your leadership team that you think might benefit from attending the Area V Fly-in.

Our Fly-in will begin on Friday at 8:30 a.m. at JLD Headquarters with coffee and a continental breakfast.  The morning session will begin at 9:00 a.m. with training by nationally recognized speaker Anne Barab (www.annebarab.com).  Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.  Following remarks by Debbie, the afternoon session will be spent in discussion of Area V League concerns, the upcoming Annual Conference and additional networking.  The meeting will conclude no later than 3:00 p.m.  The meeting cost will be $80 per person.

For those of you arriving on Thursday, we have planned a festive evening at the elegant Royal Oaks Country Club.  We will begin with reception followed by a Mexican fiesta dinner.  Your fee of $45 per person includes dinner and a drink of your choice.  A cash bar will be available.

Roundtrip transportation will be provided from the Hilton Dallas/Park Cities to the Royal Oaks Country Club on Thursday and to the Junior League of Dallas Headquarters on Friday.  We will also help arrange for cabs to the airport or back to the hotel at the conclusion of the meeting on Friday.
