Community Project Requests
Grant Application Workshop for the 2013-2014 year will be held on
Wednesday, March 20th from 9am-11am at Junior League Headquarters
8003 Inwood Road
Each year the Research and Development Committee identifies approximately 40 projects that will comprise the majority of the JLD Community Program for the year. The Committee accepts project requests that further the mission of the JLD and respond to recognized community needs. Requests must include a volunteer placement component for JLD members and may also include a funding component.
Support for a project, agency, family or other need may be made through the JLD website by printing and completing the appropriate form. All forms for the 2014-2015 year must be turned in to the Junior League by noon on April 26, 2013.
Community Project Requests (R&D)
- Available to nonprofit agencies in Dallas County and/or the City of Dallas that meet the established criteria.
- Agencies requesting JLD funding must also include a volunteer placement component to their request that will provide a minimum of 60 hours of service opportunities per volunteer.
- The request process from application to acceptance of approved projects takes approximately one year.
If you apply online you will still need to submit three full paper copies to the JLD office by noon Friday 26 April 2013.
