Funding Cycle

The Junior League of Dallas (JLD) welcomes gifts in any amount in support of the Community Service Fund.  This support allows the JLD to provide both funding and volunteers to 41 area agencies and JLD community service projects.

The Funding Cycle

The Junior League of Dallas prides itself on being a good steward of the funding generously provided by our sponsors. In order to carefully evaluate the requests for financial support that the League receives, the JLD follows a three-year funding cycle. The process works as follows:

Year One - Funds are raised through the Fund Development process and then carefully invested in interest-bearing accounts.

Year Two - While the funds increase through the investment process, the Research & Development Committee reviews Community Project funding requests and determines how to allocate the available funds.

Year Three - Grants are paid to the agencies that have been selected for inclusion in the Community Program.
