KITK3Kids in the Kitchen is a nationally recognized health education program that empowers youth to learn the preparation of healthy meals while educating children and their parents about nutrition and healthy food choices. In partnership with UnitedHealthcare and local after-school providers, the JLD impacts the lives of area children by helping them to develop healthier lifestyles. During the eight-week interactive program, Junior League of Dallas volunteers work with non-profit agencies to engage youth in kindergarten through 5th grade. The 3-hour sessions include age-appropriate recipe preparation, fun exercise activities and take-home items including nutrition and fitness tips for the whole family.

Kids in the Kitchen was founded in 2006 and is supported by the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) and more than 250 Junior Leagues around the country. Please contact for more information.
